626,429 new Covid-19 cases have been reported worldwide in six days from May 24 to 29, at an average of 104,405 cases per day. Out of this, just 4 countries — USA, Brazil, Russia, and India — accounted for 341,451 cases, or 54.5% of global cases. USA and Brazil alone accounted for 247,642 cases, or 39.5% of the global total.
Cumulative till date, these 4 countries account for 2,837,680 Covid-19 cases, which is 46.78% of the total 6,066,302 cases worldwide.
While the number of new cases from May 24 to 29 in USA and Russia is lower than the previous two weeks, Brazil and India have seen higher cases.
