We, the world’s second largest public polling / surveying platform across all social media https://twitter.com/MyVoteToday – ran a Side Poll (different from our MAIN DAILY POLLS) on Twitter which asked – “HOW MANY TOTAL NIGHTS WILL ARVIND KEJRIWAL, MANISH SISODIA AND OTHER AAM AADMI PARTY LEADERS SPEND IN THE HOME OF THE DELHI LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR’S HOUSE?” This was not a serious poll, but just a tease of sorts.
Four choices were given to the voters: 7-10 (a realistic choice in our opinion before we posted the poll), 49 (the number of days the first AAP government was in office in Delhi), 67 (the number of seats Aam Aadmi Party won in the last Delhi assembly elections) and 420 (named after Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code, which deals with Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property, but used popularly to describe cheats and fraudsters in India).
5544 people responded / voted on the Poll. 52% voted for the realistic option of 7-10 days. A surprising 40% chose 420. The numbers for the other two options were therefore insignificant.
Arvind Kejriwal is the “elected” Chief Minister of Delhi. Manish Sisodia is the Deputy Chief Minister. Is it proper for them to do dharnas like this? Is this what citizens expect from the politicians they vote for? Is the Aam Aadmi Party the biggest circus in the country, after Russian circuses stopped coming here. Should Kejri and Susu disband their political party and form a comedy platform to challenge All India Bakchod, or is their comedy already much beyond boring?
