USA’s 57,236 Covid-19 Cases on 2nd July Beat Brazil’s Single-Day Record

I have been conducting Data Analytics Studies on the Coronavirus Pandemic for 114 days and have written 178 research-based blog posts on COVID-19 in these 114 days.

USA (the United States of America) recorded the world’s highest single-day case count of 57,236 cases yesterday (July 2), beating Brazil’s record of 55,209 cases on June 19.

On the previous day (July 1), the US had recorded 51,097 cases. In the past 7 days, from June 25 to July 2, the country recorded an average of 47,243 average daily cases, which is the highest 7-day case count for any country. This was 23.3% higher than Brazil’s 38,315 average daily cases in the same 7-day period.

USA will be celebrating 244 years of its Independance tomorrow, July 4. This is definitely not a happy Independence Day Weekend for the country.
