CBI has been called “Congress Bureau of Investigation” on several occasions. Even if the country’s premier police/investigation force is under the influence of the central government of the day, is it OK for a city’s police force to heckle and arrest its officers?

In other words, is Kolkata Police (Calcutta Police) justified in manhandling (and arresting) officers of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)?

Why did Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar not appear for a CBI enquiry, despite being summoned several times since 2017?

As CBI was carrying out an investigation on the Sarada Chit Fund Scam and other chit fund scams under the 2014 directive of the Supreme Court of India (issued before the Narendra Modi government took charge), can we say that they were seeking questioning of Rajeev Kumar on the directions of the Prime Minister, or BJP President Amit Shah, or National Security Advisor Ajit Doval?

Was it correct for the West Bengal state police Director General to go to the home of Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar? Even more important – was it OK for the state Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to go to his home?

Is it justified for Kolkata Police to go to the home of the Joint Director of CBI in Kolkata, in order to arrest him? Does our Constitution allow a city police force to arrest a Joint Director of the country’s primary “central” police force?

What did the #MamataBlocksCBI incident have to do with Manik Majumdar? Who is Manik Majumdar? Is he someone close to Mamata Banerjee? Was he responsible for arranging payments to Trinamool Congress through sale of paintings supposedly painted by Mamata Banerjee?

How can senior police officials of West Bengal Police and Kolkata Police participate in a political dharna of Trinamool Congress party? Was the dharna pre-planned? If it was not, how come arrangements seem so impeccable? Does Mamata Banerjee want the central government to use Article 356 of the Constitution to declare “President’s Rule”, so that she can play the “victim card” in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections?

Is Mamata Banerjee scared of the BJP? If she is not, why has she blocked Amit Shah’s proposed Rath Yatra in West Bengal? Why has she refused permission for the helicopters of Amit Shah and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to land in West Bengal?

Why is a senior Congress party leader Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi going to represent the West Bengal government in the Supreme Court? What is the connection of Congress party to this matter?

THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION IS: Is West Bengal still a part of India?
