Look at the way this Elon Musk company – TESLA – is growing. Nearly averaging 30,000 deliveries per quarter, or 120,000 per year despite being present in just 36 countries, most of which it has entered in the last one and a half years.
To give you a comparison, that’s more cars than what Nissan Datsun, Volkswagen and Skoda sell combined annually in India. And it’s almost equal to the number of cars/SUVs Toyota sells.
By the time this month is over, TESLA would have delivered over 345,000 electric cars since its founding less than six years ago.
In my personal opinion, their Model X SUV is their most awesome car, although many may disagree. Looks like something from the future.
The TESLA SEMI truck is about to start deliveries. If one was to believe rumours, the first two years’ production capacity have already been booked by FedEx, UPS and DHL. With expected fuel savings of more than $200,000, the truck will pay for itself in a year’s time. Isn’t that awesome?
Here’s a look at the TESLA SEMI. Would love to see them on Indian roads in the not too distant future. It will change the landscape of our highways.
