We, the world’s second largest public polling / surveying platform across all social media  – ran a Poll on Twitter which asked – “WHO IS THE SECOND MOST POWERFUL PERSON IN INDIA AFTER NARENDRA MODI?”

The following 20 choices were given:

Ajit Doval – the National Security Advisor of India
Amit Shah – the President of BJP
Arun Jaitley – India’s Finance Minister
Gen. Bipin Rawat – Chief of Army Staff
Justice Dipak Misra – Chief Justice of India
Mamata Banerjee – the Chief Minister of West Bengal
Mohan Bhagwat – the Head of Rashtriya Swayamseva Sangh (BJP’s parent organization)
Mukesh Ambani – Chairman of Reliance Industries
Natarajan Chandrasekaran – Chairman of TATA Group
Nirmala Sitaraman – Defence Minister of India
Piyush Goyal – Railway Minister of India and BJP Treasurer
Pranab Mukherjee – former President of India
Rahul Gandhi – President of Congress Party
Rajnath Singh – Home Minister of India
Ramnath Kovind – the President of India
Sonia Gandhi – former President of Congress Party & Chairperson of UPA
Sushma Swaraj – Minister for External Affairs
Virat Kohli – Captain of Indian Cricket Team
Urjit Patel – Governor of Reserve Bank of India
Yogi Adityanath – Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh

A whopping 59,036 people responded / voted on the Poll. With 22% votes, BJP President Amit Shah was voted as the second most powerful person in India. NSA Ajit Doval was a distant second, securing just 14% of the votes.
