I have been conducting Data Analytics Studies on the Coronavirus Pandemic for 98 days and have written 153 research-based blog posts on COVID-19 in these 98 days.

Brazil reported 37,278 new Covid-19 cases yesterday, which was the highest daily case count for the country and the second highest for any country in the world, after USA’s count of 39,072 cases on April 24.

While the USA has not crossed 30,000 cases on any day since  May 1, Brazil has crossed 30,000 cases 7 times since May 30.

Brazil has added 514,173 new Covid cases in the past 20 days since May 27, at an average of 25,709 cases per day. This is 20.66% of the 2,488,943 cases added worldwide in these 20 days. This is higher than the 449,532 cases added by USA, making Brazil the world’s top Coronavirus hotspot, replacing the USA which has been there since mid-March.
